The Down Syndrome Training & Support Service is a registered charity in Bradford run by and for parents and carers of children who have Down syndrome.

The Down Syndrome Training & Support Service is a registered charity in Bradford run by and for parents and carers of children who have Down syndrome. They offer support and a wide range of training for all parents and professionals working and caring for children with Down syndrome and currently support over 390 families and 200 organisations across health, education and social care.

The Pamela Sunter Centre in Bingley (the charities head office) delivers specific training, early intervention and speech and language group sessions amongst other activities and services.

Don Whitley Scientific has also been busy doing their part to raise money for the charity, with various fundraisers set up throughout the year. A tremendous effort has been made by everyone at DWS over the course of the year, with a variety of activities taking place, ranging from a BBQ and a treasure map, to various themed raffles and a Christmas jumper day.

The grand total was kindly matched by our Managing Director Paul Walton, putting the grand total at £5,000.
