Dr Didier Ndeh

Dr Didier Ndeh (a Royal Society University Research Fellow) who formerly worked in the lab of Professor Harry Gilbert and Dr David Bolam at Newcastle University where he used a Whitley A35 Workstation, recently established a new laboratory in Dundee. During this set up, Didier specifically requested a Whitley A25 Anaerobic Workstation and a Whitley Jar Gassing System, both of which have now been successfully installed.

Don Whitley Scientific's products earn the trust and loyalty of their operators, time and time again due to the exceptional quality and service imbued in every facet of the company. Our products consistently deliver accurate and reproducible results, ensuring the success of scientific experiments across a diverse range of fields.

Dr Ndeh commented, "Don Whitely Scientific products have had a profound impact on my research in the past years. A lot of the microbiology related work in my lab involves operations in highly controlled anaerobic conditions and thankfully this great need has been met with the recent acquisition of the Whitley A25 Anaerobic Workstation."Dr Ndeh commented, Don Whitely Scientific products have had a profound impact on my research in the past years. A lot of the microbiology related work in my lab involves operations in highly controlled anaerobic conditions and thankfully this great need has been met with the recent acquisition of the Whitley A25 Anaerobic Workstation.

The A25 Anaerobic Workstation provides precise control of the anaerobic environment, allowing for customised experimental conditions. Key benefits of the A25 include:

  • Exceptional control: Maintains precise oxygen levels, humidity and temperature ensuring reliable results.
  • Customisation: Researchers can tailor the workstations to their specific needs with optional factory fit features and operating conditions.
  • User-friendly interface: The workstation offers an intuitive full colour interface for ease of use.

The jar gassing system ensures a controlled environment in which to create anaerobic or microaerobic conditions in jars, increasing the throughput of your lab in a cost-effective way. Its key benefits include:

  • Seamless Integration: It integrates seamlessly with our Incubation Box and other jars on the market via an adapter kit.
  • Fault Detection: A built-in fault detector to create an alert if a jar is leaking.
  • Reduced Cost: Reduces the cost of creating microaerobic conditions by 98% and for anaerobic conditions by 89%.
  • Speed: Creates perfect conditions for growing anaerobes in less than 2 minutes and for microaerophiles in just 15 seconds.

Didier’s choice reflects the trust and satisfaction that our products consistently inspire. These exceptional products will continue to support researchers in achieving their scientific goals with precision and confidence for years to come.
