Dr Sarah Copsey-Mawer:

Sarah is a Senior Biomedical Scientist at the UK Anaerobe Reference Unit (UKARU) where she has led on the incorporation into service of both MALDI-TOF MS and gold standard AST by agar dilution. Sarah has overseen the implementation of EUCAST disk diffusion AST of anaerobes across Wales as part of ongoing EUCAST developments for improving AST methods and guidance for anaerobes.

She is currently co- chair of the CLSI working group for Anaerobe AST and a committee member of the Society for Anaerobic Microbiology (SAM). Sarah has also co-authored several papers and contributed to chapters for CLSI, MCM and CMPH.
